Food Tasting Party of Original Recipes Created by OCU Students
As part of the “Original Recipe Card Development Project” started back in July, 2019, students from the Faculty and Graduate School of Human Life Science at Osaka City University (OCU) have created a menu of 13 well-balanced and healthy recipes. To celebrate distributing this menu of recipes at the Kintetsu Department Store located in Abeno Harukas in November, 2019, a food tasting party was held at a restaurant in the OCU Sugimoto Campus on 20 November.
Students, faculty, and personnel from the Kintestu Department Store were treated to a meal sourced exclusively from the 13 recipes and had the opportunity to listen to presentations on the development of the recipes and the nutritional nature behind them. After the tasting, the audience gave a lively Q&A and left feedback on how the dishes tasted. The event concluded in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The recipes are available at on the B2F of the Tower Building, Abeno Haukas Main Store. Check them out next time you’re there.
